Ok, so as usual, I adore the rich details in all of your photos. But, I must say, I really like the picture of you. I like the lighting, the way you look, the wood of the building...this is great!!!
I had never heard of the mysterious spot. I clicked on the link and it is very interesting and worth deeper investigation. Also, it reminds me a little of Sedona, AZ. There is supposedly an energy that exists and I believe it is called vortex....so amazing, the life of the nature around us.
What a strange place! Take away the crooked building which seems to be built just for illusion--- and your feet look farther away in one direction and normal uphill and they should look closer uphill. And I felt really heavy and drugged once second and took a step and felt light and floaty, then heavy again. Gravity was, moody there. NExt time I really want to take a compass and my own ball to roll uphill...They used a carpenter's leveller everywhere to demonstrate flat boards, but it was just surreal when you face your significant other and the height difference is extreme one way and then extreme the other when you switch places, on the same flat level spot. I really think it is something magnetic right in that earth, mother earth drawing you towards her. I expected Billy my scientist husband to have answers but he was pretty confused too, so strange!
Ah thanks I like crooked frames and especially sepia. And you can't argue with redwood-filtered ilght
I love those little mermaids. My mum used to work in a bar when I was a kid, I collected them too! And I love all your posts. Your deer dagger post was like something out of Narnia.
You did! How cool. What's funny is that this place is known as a biker bar, it just seems juxtaposed I like it, but try taking pictures of tough looking harley guys and ladies near the mermaid sculpture at the bar, I felt like a little kid spying on them through the planters!
I like my deer dagger post too, it brings to life odd things out of my dreams. It is Narnia-esque I didn't even think of that..
You get the most beautiful colours in your photos! I am so freaking in love with the one of the mudflats! I need to visit California sometime for sure :D
