So I read that 345 people were killed in a stampede during Islam's annual hajj ritual. In 1990 1,426 people were killed, and in 2004 244 were killed. I think it is time to consider altering the requirement that this be a requirement for all able-bodied muslims. I can't believe I'm doing this. I've always thought it was courageous of people to write in a journal for anyone to see. I am *not* a courageous person. I'm way too careful with my feelings. But. . I'll give it a shot. Who knows, maybe it will be cathartic.
