Paris day 3 - I'd like new feet please

Sep 03, 2012 20:56

Today is my last day in Paris, tres sad. Tomorrow I'm off to Angers though! Today started with me buying a train ticket to do so, my pronunciation of Angers was so bad I had to write it down in the end. I then toddled to the National Museum of the Middle Ages which was ok. The name implies it's going to be more than it actually is though.

again, lovely shots.

i would have no idea how to pronounce Angers (other than the English obvious). I'm not even sure I knew where it is but have fun.

It's in central France and apparently pronounced 'on jay'. Which is just daft, why not spell it like that then!

I'm not sure anything in French is spelled like it sounds from an English-speaking stand point.

I know nothing of central France other than it's supposed to be lovely. Have fun.

Ooh, that hall looks beautiful. Though, as you say, a little sobering too. I guess that's history for you.

Enjoy Angers! Enjoy the wine! :)

See? See? Didn't I tell you to go to Sainte Chapelle? Didn't I? Didn't I?! :D

I confess I'm slightly disappointed you didn't buy the little Philip action figure though. Just think of the fun you could have had with him and a couple of peaches...

Of course wine always wins! But had you bought them, they could have played with my lego and vampirefever's ducks at Horbling.

Oh the havoc they would wreak...

It looks like you're having a most excellent time.

Yes but I'd have been tempted to put them in rude positions and undo all that mass attending on Saturday. :p
