Horatio is going to be sleeping in the back hedge!

Poor William. One gets the feeling that things are more tranquil at his house!

Mrs Bush won't let Lord H, Mr. K or Bartholomew in her house, she likes to keep it tranquil and chaos follows the three of them around!

Don't be silly. Bonzo was Ronald Reagan's monkey!

The back hedge would be too good for him, the swine.

Love the touches of Longitude and M&C. Brilliant.

Are you a surgeon now as well a scientist!

Filmverse M&C, echoes Maturin's conversation with Blakeney, who wants to be a scientist and a sailor and then offers medical advice. "Are you a doctor now, as well as a sailor?"

Question is, Bartholomew going to acquire a taste for brandy?
That could lead to some more excitement in the ever volatile household !
Lord Hornblower could be feeling chilly at night for some while - he might need the rest of the brandy after all
great stuff ! Thank you very much - ideal for the end of a stressy sort of day

That is indeed a potentially worrying development, although Lord H may be kept warm by all the fire and brimstone at the temperance meetings Mr K makes him take Bartholomew too...

*gasp* I'm surprised Mr Kennedy didn't put the sympathy powder theory to the test on Lord H!! He's had a very lucky escape if you ask me!

I must say though, Bartholomew seems to be none the worse for the whole affair. Definitely shades of Captain Aubrey's debauched sloth there if you ask me.

I suspect Mr K would have been so busy with the wounding he'd forget about the powder!

A the sloth! I had forgotten about the drunken sloth!
