It's no secret that we're a device heavy house. The kids get more screen time than they probably should but HEY, I am pretty bad about it myself sooooo.

But in order to get the kids headed towards bed, devices are down at 8:30; it's a half hour of quiet activity time,

Preeeetty sure I got you one with a bunch of the puzzles. :)

It hurts me that even Miss C doesn't grasp the basics of jigsaw puzzles--the reason I bought them for them is because I started doing them when I was R's age!

Yay jigsaw puzzles! Last Christmas my jigsaw-loving sister got a custom puzzle from our other sister. It was a picture of her kids that got sent off to a place that makes the picture into a large (500 piece?) puzzle. This year's puzzle was of husband and kids. So, maybe that's something you can work up to in the future.
