I liked this! It was really fun seeing dirt-poor sims. Although yikes, must have been a beast to play!
Can't wait to see your Myshuno prompt about this :)

Well, the prompt wasn't about this in particular, but it fitted here very nicely. ;)

Yes, it was a real struggle to play through this chapter. I was so afraid the kids were going to be taken away, and then it would have been Game Over. Hence the large amounts of saving. Once Beaudelaire hits Child too, that worry should be over.

Thanks for reading! :D

Just (finally, sorry about that) read Snap of Life so I knew who they were. :) It's great! Ygraine looks so different without her Birth Queen skin.

I'm guessing she and her husband split up due to the...ah...rabbit problem? :)

Love the trailer, and the logic for everything works so well, the haircuts and the clothes, and dining table.

Well done not getting the kids taken away, that is one shiny red plumbbob! But yay for neat kids. And unexpected elf/vulcan ears too, bonus!

Looking forward to the myshuno prompt(s)! :D

No need to apologize! Snap of Life was mostly because I'm a completist and can't stand to have things left undone. (Since I also procrastinate, I'm sure you can imagine the problems this causes. :( )

Yes, the rabbits were a significant contributing factor. Not everyone is equipped to deal with a spouse who has those issues.

If I were a Sim, I'd have high Logic skill, I think. :P The save-every-five-minutes strategy is of real help here. And THANK GOD for the Neat points!

The prompt wasn't about this story in particular, but it made so much sense for this family, I couldn't not write it for them. I hope you're not too disappointed.

PS: This is the story I said I thought would suck, and you said you thought it wouldn't. We had a friendly wager on it. Should we wait another chapter or two to see who won? (And you still haven't told me what you'd like if you win. I'm thinking maybe another full episode of G&SL? Although those are labor intensive, so if you win, payment will be a bit delayed...)

Oh, I'm the same. I want to get on with Hypothesis and complete it, and am really excited about the coming chapters (and I want to complete my WYDC which hasn't been updated in about 2 years) but always find something else to do when I open the game... I daren't look at my sim-related 'To Do List - 2012'.

I'm never disappointed with your Myshuno prompts, they're great fun to read!

Same goes for the wager, I enjoyed this and vote that I've won. And I also count Myshuno prompts about my favourite characters (especially long-gone ones who I wouldn't get to read about otherwise) as presents enough. :D Although I never say no to more G&SL...

Tell you what, then. Why don't you give me a few characters you'd like to see more of and I'll see if I can work my remaining prompts to fit them. If not, maybe I'll use some of my leftover prompts. And if you have something you'd specifically like to know about G&SL, I'll see if I can work up a full episode.

A gentleman always pays his debts, and I don't see why a lady should be any different. ;)

Ah, okay, I didn't realize your story and myshuno links were separate ones.
My favorite challenges are hardship ones, and I really like this one so far! Can't wait to see how it all turns out. :D

Well, when it comes to Myshuno, I reserve the right to use any of my stories I want. :P Some prompts just don't work for some stories, but if I find the right Sims to use, the shorts write themselves.

I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far! It's fun (and frustrating) to play. And thanks for reading! :D
