Drinking Game

If you are not legal drinking age or if (like me) you don't like the taste of booze, take a shot of lemon juice concentrate instead. (Undiluted and unsweetened, or it's no fun. :P) No underage drinking!

I have two main stories, so here is a version for each.

Ruth's (u)OWBC )

meme, already in progress, non-story, ruth's

Heh. This was fun! :) To think of it, the capitalizing rule might be pretty lethal now that you mention it... :D

Yeahhhhh, I tend to do that a lot. >_> In just one slide of my last non-Plotty OWBC chapter, you'd have had to take 29 shots. Which would be why I didn't put it on the OWBC list...

Ha, Gilbert and Sullivan being lethal, who would have thought it?! :D A song of theirs was on the radio at work today, something about a woman being over 6'5" if I heard correctly.

But yes, love this! :D

Aw, there's only three or four references per chapter. Maybe five. Unless you count Officially as well, and then you /are/ talking lethal levels...

That one doesn't sound familiar from that reference, but do you remember anything else about it? Any other lyrics, one or more singers, male or female...? Now I'm intrigued!

One male singer, something like 'and now you know why, she's over 6 foot fiiiiive!'. My colleague was adament it was G&S even before they said it on the radio after the song had finished. :)

Aha! It's actually Gilbert O'Sullivan, and the song is "No Matter How I Try." Gilbert O'Sullivan's biggest hit was "Alone Again, Naturally," and he was popular in the early 1970s. His birth name wasn't "Gilbert," but he took that name on purpose because of G&S. Learn more about Mr. O'Sullivan here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_O%27Sullivan
