Yep, that would be me, trying to find something right next to me. lol I don't blame Oliver for not knowing them apart. All plant sims look the same to me. ;p

Great read. :D

I can't tell you how many times I've done this. There was one time I was convinced I'd lost my work phone. I tore the place apart looking for it, was late to work because I'd spent so long looking, and had resigned myself to paying for the loss -- and when I got home, there it was on the kitchen counter in plain sight. *feels stupid remembering that*

I've actually color-coded the girls in-game so I can tell quickly who's who. They do each have one distinguishing feature, but it's not always visible.

Thanks!

Heh, just when we think he's got them the right way round.... :)

Isn't it always the way, looking for something that's right where it should be, especially when it's right in front of us.

It makes me smile that he addresses them both by Oakapple's daughter's name; if they're misbehaving, it must be Saigon's fault... :D

If he calls them both by the same name, then statistically speaking, he'll be right about half the time. *nods knowingly*

That happens to me all the time! (See phone story in the above reply, for example. I've got dozens of stories like that.) Sort of a "Yes, frying pan on the stove, that's where it belongs, ignore it and move on to the next item" mentality. I think it's related to the phenomenon that when people lose the TV remote, more than 50% of the time it's found in the fridge.

(*guiltily*) Er, yes, that it-must-be-Oakapple's-daughter-misbehaving-not-mine thing was completely deliberate. It has nothing to do with me finding Saigon easier to spell. Yup, that's the ticket! Or at least it /will/ be deliberate from now on...

Awwwww, very cute, and completely believable :P *is exactly the same about losing things in front of me >.>*
Hey, at least if he picks one name for both of them, he's got to be right half of the time! :D And Amy is so right about calling them the husband's daughter's name when they're being naughty XD

I think everyone's done that losing-things-in-front-of-them thing at some point. It's always entertaining for the spectators, if not for the searchers. :)

Amy had a great insight there, which I have shamelessly appropriated, as I was only thinking of statistical probabilities. >.> Although Oliver did thank "Saigon" for being helpful, not "Fantine." I must remember to be more consistent about that. *makes note*
