[Spoiler (click to open)] Luckily there's plenty of time for Penny to find that life partner, if she's so inclined. (And perhaps stepping away from the father-clone was for the best. :D )
Too bad that there wasn't much interest between Allyn and her dorm mate, he seemed nice. Oh well, it happens.
I think that date drop may have been a Hobby Leader, at least my uni coaches are usually elders. When George was still looking for a mate, he once got a Hobby Leader as a date drop, too. (Eventually I had to delete the poor guy from my lot, as I couldn't get him to leave otherwise.)
Aww, Allyn got lucky in the end! Ryan seems a nice guy.
Winifred seems to be doing quite well, especially when you aren't looking. :)
It also seems Penny is enjoying her life, too. I'm looking forward to seeing her shop.
Poor Olga! Caryl seemed a nice girl at first, but with those requirements, I'm not sure if I like her that much...
[Spoiler (click to open)]Yes, Penny's got time. But you know, they say boys want a girl like their mothers, and girls want a boy like their fathers... :P

Tried to read this before bed yesterday but Author stream crashed or did something.
You could always make some compatible partners and drop them in as townies or dormies. He looks like a hobby leader. How did you end up with Ryan Wheeler? He's an AL townie.
Then it crashed again. Not your fault, I've been having issues lately with plugins crashing I think it's Firefox.
*tries Slideshare* I see you are playing Uni to want now too, makes it more interesting I find.
I'm sorry Authorstream wasn't working for you. It sounds like Slideshare did, though, and that's good. That's why I post both places!
Well, Penny certainly hasn't met everyone in town yet, so I'll wait before I "salt the mines." I like it when my sims find someone on their own.
Ryan Wheeler is an AL townie -- one of the Bohemians, I think -- and he was a matchmaker drop. The matchmaker doesn't restrict herself to dormies if your sim is a YA, and it was a lucky choice for Allyn and Ryan both. :)
I got the idea of playing Uni to wants from you, and it does indeed make things more interesting. Thank you for the inspiration!
No, I'm not going for a Monster Mash bonus, and I already had my zombie. Rather unfortunately for them, Olga and Caryl are victims of Plot. Otherwise, of course, I would agree with you 100%! But since it's Gilbert & Sullivan, you can be sure that it will all come right in the end for almost everyone. ;P
You can't get regular townies with my method -- IF you use it. But I left the AL and FT templates alone and didn't remove them, since I've never seen those townies and am not tired of them yet. (Also, I wasn't sure if hobby lots and witches would generate correctly without, although I have since found out that they will.) So that's why you see a regular AL townie. :)
Oh yes, there are a couple of songs and some dialog detailing that particular Plot point in the original. I only needed two slides. :P
I was happy that Allyn and Win both made such good matches. With Win, it really was pretty much on her own, too. (I did tell her to go auto-socialize with the guy once when I needed her out of the shot for a picture, but the rest was all them.)
I generated the dormies myself (using the townie gun that comes with the game), and between the gun, my special enabling hacks (skin, glasses, and facial hair) and my default replacements, they can out quite nicely.
Penny has struck me as a mechanic rather than a traditional white-collar worker since she was a kid. :)
I hope you'l enjoy the upcoming Plot for the OWBC, then! (Not the next update, but the one after that.) It's the Plot that made me decide to play an OWBC in the first place. ;D
I'm glad you're enjoying the story so far! Thanks for reading and commenting! :D

Ah G&S, I should have guessed.

You've got a nice mix of dormies in there too.
I like all the garage ideas for Penny, it really suits her.
Ooh, I'm intrigued to see what happens with Olga! I always enjoy the OWBC plot points. :)
