So excited to read another update from 100 Days! :) This challenge really is awesome, and *you're* awesome for getting so many points! I like that Anastasia, Pong, and Georgiana have such distinctive personalities. Georgiana is my fave: she's so plucky and positive! And my favourite scene was reporting/setting the fire. Can't wait to read more!
The creator of the challenge thought it should be quite easy to manage 100 points *without* using the community lot rule, and that's the only thing keeping me from abject failure, but hey -- 34 point in 33 days is 34 points in 33 days. :)
Georgiana doesn't act much like her mother. I think she must take after her father, but I don't really know, since he was essentially just a genetic donor.
Reporting/setting the fire really did play out like that. Unlike a lot of reality TV, *that* wasn't clever editing. :P
Glad to hear you enjoyed the story! Thanks for reading and commenting! :D
Anastasia is very easy to write -- all I have to do is take dictation, basically. I'll admit to having a soft spot for her. :)
Yes, a flamingo would be perfect for an OWBC date gift! I've never had that, though. At least now we know it's possible.
Well, EVENTUALLY there was a fire. I was a leetle premature in telling Rebecca to call, though...
I thought that memories and pop-ups would be acceptable, but I'm glad to have a second opinion on that one. I often miss the doodads in my C2F as well. So many needs to juggle!
I'm glad you enjoyed the update! Thanks so much for reading and commenting! :D
Aging up comes to us all, sooner or later. In my case, it's going to be later, at least if I have anything to say about it!
Well, I figured that with the hearts flying from the armpits, she could have drunk the potion at home and then gone to the community lot, and the task was to drink it specifically. But everyone seems to agree that the popups are legit for the logic.
I said it before, and I'll say it again: I just take dictation for Anastasia. She writes her own lines. :)
The matchmaker was at the top of her game with Georgiana's date. I see keeper potential there.
Hooray for comments! [Spoiler (click to open)]Don't you wish it worked that way in Real Life? That would be nice...
Anastasia's approach to just about everything is fun. I just take dictation from her, you know. :P I believe that she is getting crankier in old age, partly because part of her self-worth is her ability to attract handsome young members of the opposite sex, and that ability just ain't what it used to be. [/psychological analysis]
The flamingo gift was totally cute, and I'm thinking that Paul might end up being a keeper just for that.
Yeah, that was me mis-timing the phone call with the firefighter. I had to find a way to put a good spin on it somehow... :( And I agree that Rebecca and Pong make good-looking elders. Of course, what else would you expect from Descartes's daughter and the man who was cool enough to qualify to marry Descartes's daughter. "Awesome" is in the title for a reason. ;) Thanks for reading and commenting! :D
Great fun as always! I love this family, they are way more "real" than so-called real people on reality TV (though I can't claim to be an expert, I never watch reality TV except a *very* occasional Hell's Kitchen or Kitchen Nightmares).
Love the flamingo date gift! My favorite one I ever got was the diner-style napkin holder with ketchup and mustard :D
I've only ever seen one episode of a reality show, and when I say "reality show," I mean "that one episode of 30 Rock that was a parody of reality shows." I have heard those shows are super edited and manipulated for Teh Dramaz, but I just haven't got the energy.
The flamingo date gift was pretty awesome! I think that was the point that Paul became a serious candidate for a permanent member of the household. I have to admit, though, that the napkins-and-condiments would also be a keeper-level gift. I mean, who doesn't love ketchup?

And aww at Georgiana and her date, so cute! I haven't had a sim leave a flamingo as a date gift, that would be perfect for an OWBC. :)
Poor Rebecca's face at being fined, she looks so disappointed. There was a fire, mean firefighter! :P
Memories and pop-ups definitely count as proof, I often miss the doodads just from being preoccupied by other sims in CtoF. :)
Yay for an update, nice to hear from the family again.

Pop-ups will do, also flying hearts from armpits.
Anastasia's a hoot.
Glad that Georgina got such a great date. Matchmaker must have been feeling nice.

I like Georgiana's approach to scholarships: "Hi! I'd like one scholarship please!" :D
I agree, hearts flying out of armpits as well as memories panels count. ;)
I also like Anastasia's approach to running a business. :D
Aww, the flamingo gift was cute. :) And am I imagining it or is Anastasia getting even crankier with old age?
Whoops about the firefighter! Well, I do suppose it is cheaper than being thrown in jail for arson.
Oh, and it's a bit odd seeing Rebecca and Pong as elders, but they do make good looking elders.
Yay for still being on target with the points! \o/
