Hooray for new challenges, and for sharing! :) Taking breaks from the rebuild every now and then is a good idea, too.
This sounds like an interesting challenge, too. I'll be looking forward to seeing the rules.
I'd definitely count being cute as performing for toddlers, it's true they can't do that much, and well, it's what they do best right? As for the nursery rhyme, I don't think you can direct the toddler to sing it with another sim, it has to be the other sim to initiate the action. It would be cute if the toddler could initiate, though.
Looks like it'll be a tough challenge. Playing without any adults is hard enough as it is, and on top of that the challenge rules... Yikes. Good luck! :)
I may have to retype the rules from my printout. :( But I will get them up somehow, I promise!
Yes, being cute is 100% what toddlers do best! Pity they can't initiate the nursery rhyme, though -- my nephew initiates "Frere Jacques" and "Baa Baa Black Sheep" all the time.
Yes, tough is definitely the word! It makes the rebuild look easy, which is part of the point, I suppose...
I've never been able to make that cheat work, even when the last name was unique. I suspect I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what. I've found that shoving things in inventory and not touching them works. *shrugs* I hope that my lack of ability didn't spoil your enjoyment of the story too much! :)
Thanks for reading and commenting! And I believe this is the first comment I've ever gotten from you, so welcome! :D *passes soliamore cookies*
Like I said, I've never been able to make it work, even following those directions. The inventory method works pretty well for me right now, and I've only just got the Newsons to over $100 in the bank -- I don't want to lose that! O.O But I will be sure to make a note of your advice for mext time I have to start a challenge off with a specific amount -- thanks! :)

I'm very intrigued by the rules, when you do share them.
It seems quite stressful! Here's hoping the kids can grow up without the social worker. :)

It is kind of stressful, but that's what makes it fun, right? :P
