I say have the point for the poo bag - you did EARN it, it never specified WHEN the poo bag had to be delivered!

That makes sense. After all, adopting a child earns you a point even though the child is not delivered until the next day...

I vote YES for the poo bag. (And I think I will think this every election from now on, lol, but no kidding!)

I don't know why Sim teens are so reluctant to Go Steady. Back in my day, teens were going steady right and left.

I pretty much already think that every election, but then, I am very cynical. :P Thank you for your vote!

I think I was two or three relationship points away from being able to Go Steady, but Georgiana was about to wet her pants and/or faint from hunger, and her date was in similar straits, so I ended things. But you're right: even today, kids want a boyfriend/girlfriend at a very young age. I think the bar's a bit high in the Sims for that. For some kids, talking to a member of the opposite sex for more than five minutes is enough to claim them as a boyfriend/girlfriend!

I remember kids claiming to have a boyfriend/girlfriend as soon as we went to middle school, which is around 10 in the UK. I personally didn't have boyfriends until I was 17, but there were many, many couples when I was at high school!

The experience seems to be pretty universal then: the bar in The Sims is too high. *nod nod*

You got a picture of it being delivered, that counts in my book.

Also sniff their mum died. Not that I remember her name, but then since I don't remember my own sims names what hope do I have? I like the poem.

So far, the vote is unanimous for counting the poo bag. :)

Their mum's name was Abbey, and the poem she likes is one my own mom once told me she liked and found comforting. I like it too.

Aw, shame the girls didn't get anyone to go steady with them, but at least they got to go on a date each? :) It does take far too long to 'go steady' in sims, considering they can meet, get engaged and get married all in one day.

Hi Sally! :D Nice to see her in a different story, and helping with a point.

Yep, agreed, I think you should count the poo bag too. They did earn it, after all.

:'( Aww, Abbeyyyy. At least she can be with Descartes now? :( So much cute and awesome, those two.

*nods* I know that poem, my Mum told it to me too, I like it too and it is comforting.

Well done on the points, you're doing so well with this challenge.

Also, I've just noticed all the girls on the front cover; I hadn't realised how many girls were in the house now!

I think the requirements for going steady are the same as the requirements to become engaged, only for Teens, but that's too high. Georgy did like her date quite a bit. They have good chemistry and get along well, but they were just a wee bit shy of the magical LTR number needed to go steady. It would be nice if Allyn found someone, since she's Family, but the fellow she ended up with has ended up involved with multiple of my households, and he's a schmuck in all of them. I'm thinking of something unpleasant for him to do later on ( ... )

Too bad the going steady plan didn't go in favor of the girls. I usually only have sims go steady if they have the want, which isn't too often, and usually then they have someone with whom they've already got the relationship. If the requirement is the same as for getting engaged, that is a bit harsh.

I'm also in favor of counting the bag of poo point. You did earn it, regardless of when it got there!

Sad to see Abbey go. :( But now she gets to be with Descartes, which is nice for her.

Still doing quite well! :)

As far as I can tell, yep, the going steady requirement is really that steep. I think Georgy might be able to manage it in a few days with her fella, if she wants.

So far, the vote for the poo bag is unanimous. I think I'll take it. :)

Yes, Abbey getting to be with Descartes is the only good thing about her passing. I'm sure they will be happy no matter where they are now.

Thanks! And thanks for reading and commenting and voting! :D
