My computer has broken down; if I give it a several hours long break, it is useable for around half an hour - and then: nothing.

Not the greatest timing considering I have a written exam due on Monday and no money to buy a new one for.

Sounds like a heat problem. Can you cool it down with cool packs so it'll last longer? Make sure it doesn't wet, but that might help.

Things like that always happen at the most inconvenient of times.
