I remember seeing a review of a handful of writer-y softwares, and that was one of them. Everything was either expensive, mediocre, or Mac-only. Stereotypes piss me off when they become self-reinforcing realities. :-/
I've watched the videos. They are all narrated by the same guy. This is probably a one-man (two or three at most) operation. They may well not know how to program for Windows.
I know MeiLin uses Scrivener and swears by it - I'm so very based in Word, but the longer Addergoole gets, the more clunky that is (Addergoole is currently 12+ .rtf files - One for each Book, a revision-in-process for Book One, one for each Book's bonus stories, the Questions/Slash file (I don't know why they're together), and the descriptions file.
The site does recommend software that is Windows only.
Bottom of the page, under Payment Options on the right.
"Windows Users Please note that Scrivener does not run on any version of Windows - it requires a Mac running OS X Tiger or above (see the About page for more details, and to register an interest in a Windows version). For Windows users, we strongly recommend PageFour from our friends at Software for Writing. (For other comparable applications available for Windows, please see the "Writing Software for Windows" section of our Links page.)"
They will take requests for a Windows version, and may make one if they get enough.
Offended, annoyed, hurt. Glad you enjoy your program. Have fun with it. Was not actually insulting your program or the people who program it, sorry you thought I was.

You may want to check out the company's links - they seem to have no problem linking to what they have heard are the best Windows programs.
