Nobody knows have Disney owning Marvel will work out. But many foresee Disney using the kid friendly properties. Or hope they'll use them, anyway.

One wonders what would happen to the less kid-friendly properties. I woudln't really call Wolverine all that kid friendly, for instance.

And I'd say this has implications for the theme park wars. I've heard people say you take older kids to Universal - they have Spider-Man themed rides. Not for long, I'd wager. I bet that licensing agreement will die once it's up.
