thegamemistress and I went to Albacon a number of years ago. I remember I enjoyed whatever authors they had attending. Generally a positive impression. It was a small Con though, and a long distance from us, so we didn't go again. I'd say it's worth giving a try.

I'd consider you guys to be pretty experienced con-goers (I mean, you traveled to Long island last year...).

And since it is much closer for me, I think it is well worth the journey. Especially for a favorite author!
