Yay for new apartment, and for avoidance of really scary places. (Me, I might have been highly tempted by the cottage next to the train tracks, but I am aware that fondness for train sounds is not something I share with many people.) It all looks nicely clean, and I'm sure you'll be happy there.

I love trains. But this was around 100 feet from the tracks. While at the local "Trackside Diner" I witnessed two trains go by in my two visits. I'd be worried about sleeping at night.

Plus, the cottage was adversited with free cable. Now, either the landlord pays for some cable (which makes upgrading the package or adding cable-based internet in my name a nightmare) or the landlord was pirating cable from a nearby building.

And as a studio, there was no bedroom... just the living area. Not great if I want guests. Which I do.

Hooray for an apartment!

I <3 the diamond pattern in the shower wall!

Like Clarentine, I may have been tempted by the cottage next to the train tracks - for me, it would have been my love of cottages - though after 5ish years at the last place, this place is painfully quiet.

I really love cottages. I have a whole book on them. I want one.

But I also want to sleep at night.

And I want friends (like you and your Dragon) to be able to visit me and still have privacy. A seperate bedroom helps.

I liked the bathroom too. Blue is good.

Separate bedroom good if you're having guests, hai.

I know the trains stopped bothering me after about a week (if you remember the train tracks about 100 feet from the Goodman Street place), but we are also a lot more comfortable with city dwelling than, I believe, you are.

I wants a cottage, too. Or a bungalow.

Is it more of a power blue, slate blue, or tealy blue? Hard to tell from the picture.
