That. is. AWESOME.
I used to blow soap bubbles for my dog to chase... I guess it never got cold enough for them to freeze.
(I can totally see that image in the background of a scifi pic, as some sort of man-made moon or something.)

It's true! and such a common bit of real "magical" beauty in the world.
I'm surprised it hasn't featured in a Tim Burton film by now.
I think it's the kind of thing that doesn't occur to people who don't live in that kind of climate.

I think the one you picked is the most beautiful of the nine, with it's 'I'm too geometrical to be natural' look. Looks like an unopened inorganic coccoon.
I also love the litle 'flashbows' that can just be seen around the central flash reflection.
