i've found that if i huff-huff really quickly, making a kind of rapid panting noise, then mae bell will get up from across the room and come over and attack me. she'll stop whatever she is doing and come up to me and just start hitting me(!)

dunno! my -guess- is that it triggers something instictive, like i might sound like a panicked mouse, etc.

either that or she's just tired of putting up with my shit.
