"The multi-millionaire businessman, 62, fell into the River Wharfe while inspecting the grounds of his North Yorkshire estate on a rugged country version of the Segway."
I've been uncomfortably conflicted about this all day. Can't decide if this should seriously depress me, if I should enjoy the schadenfreude, laugh, or just it it go by. This sort of stuff is too bizarre for whatever words I can come up with.
If it's a hoax, a lot of mainstream media got taken in, too. I'm assuming it to be truth. Of a a nature so warped I want to laugh, and then I immediately feel guilty about laughing. And then I laugh again.
It is best that no one speak to the family for a good long while, until all the giggles have subsided. Reactions like mine must be hurtful, and should best be kept on the darker side of the Intertubes. Which is, here. :P
