i should have stayed home that day, but it's hard to pass up a scrabble tournament happening two blocks from where you live. I went 0-6. As
xpmorgan would say, I "wore the sombrero". I don't quite understand what that means. And to be clear: the tournament itself was well run by the fine set of Bay Area directors. It's my record that makes it the worst. tournament. ever.
No excuses here. A combination of bad luck + playing like a chump (which you will see) + merciless opponents = LLLLLL. But I'm playing Scrabble on a Sunday in Berkeley so it was still a good time in the big picture.
Stay tuned for some rocky Scrabble the next few days, starting with "Knavery Life" who I've now played in a tournament more than anyone else (passing the Dragon Lady, finally).
