So (theoretically, at least) Yuletide nominations are opening soon, and I am finally giving it some thought. I will ask for Never Cry Werewolf, because I am still holding out for it. This worked well for me last year when I finally got an amazing Cursed story. Go team werewolves

What is the Bing vampire commercial?

I've been kind of debating on writing fics about the State Farm commercials (particularly the Jerry and Jessica one) or... IDK, mostly I'm watching TV when the insurance commercials are running. So I might go on a commercials kick!

I am nominating: Hawk & Fisher by Simon R. Green, Otoyomegatari, The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, and Temeraire by Naomi Novik. I think we get 4 this year? Requests will be some combination of. It's really really hard to choose.

I hope we get some Protector of the Small fic. There's never enough.

Alas, we only get three spots this year for nominations. I was pleased to see someone will be nominating the Beka Cooper trilogy. I would love to see fic about Sabine in particular.

I need to finish reading Beka's trilogy. I keep meaning to get the rest of her books, but they're harder to find than the older ones.

Oh, sad. It makes sense, though, all that influx of m/m that reminded me why I stay away from the fandom because they freaking hate women. They're not even subtle about it. Thank god for the Fast and the Furious fandom as I experience it, full of people who love Letty and Mia.
