I should trust thestalkycop more often. Or really, because I do, I should listen to her movie recs and watch them immediately. Mean Girls is one of the funniest films I've seen in awhile. It's all the things I like in my comedy--sarcasm, high school hijinks, bitchy women, and a far-too-pretty Lohan, pre-anorexia. Thanks, Sarah, I love it and this is going to ( Read more... )

I recommend to you also a movie!

Saved, with Mandy Moore as Teh Bitch Queen, and some other people, all of whom are very good. I watched it last night - an odd, thought-provoking, funny little movie, with plenty of sarcasm and high school hijinks and bitchy women AND it's set at a born-again Christian school. It's *great*.

I almost rented that one along with Mean Girls. I probably should have; I love the high school hijinks and sarcasm, obviously. Especially ones which are both funny and thought-provoking.

Thank you! I shall rent it on my next trip to the store.

Sarah loved the bits and pieces you sent. Anna's essay was fantastic. We loved it. Why we are talking about ourselves in third person and plural form, we are not sure. Sarah should pick a form at stick to it.

Ooh, looky! You have Queertet Revisited icons, and now I do too. Love the angstiness of Charlie/Fulton (Charlton?).

Are you going to be on msn soon?

Carla wants you to finish the Butterfly Effect vid, because Carla watched the movie last night and Carla is in love with it and with Elden. Oh my.

Carla is glad Sarah loved the bits and pieces. Carla thinks Anna's essay is a little contrived, but as long as it works for the story, nothing else is important.

No Charlton! Carla is so tired of mixed names. Makes her want to cry. Except for Gangster, because that's just funny. :-P

Beautiful icon! Carla thinks we all need more QR icons!
