I'm so glad to hear you liked them without knowing them! It was a lot of fun researching the fandoms with which I wasn't as familiar (Dawson's Creek was the big one), even if a little intimidating.

Wow, all of these are different but they convey the loneliness of being a slayer. I particularly liked the Michelle Rodriguez ones -- you captured the sullen power she brings to her performances.

You have just made my day! The hardest part about writing a character played by Michelle Rodriguez is capturing that sullen power (I spend a lot of time looking at my lj header when writing her), so it made me absolutely giddy to hear that I did. Thank you so much!

Quick drabble that came to me and I thought of you. 100 words on the nose. I don't think I've drabbled before, but let's add a slayer Star to the mix!

It made far more sense when Faith explained it all to her. Now, repeating the words to Michael, Sam and the Frogs, Star thinks she’s getting it all wrong. She tries to remember how Faith went from “one girl in the world” to “the chosen two” to “every potential is chosen”.

She knows she’s completely failed in her explanation, probably side-tracked by Faith’s tale of a nice man who became a big snake or the shocking anecdote of a former principal who “rocked more than the headboard” for Faith.

Edgar sighs and asks, “You couldn’t have done this in 1987?”

Oh, woman, this is awesome! Awesome! I particularly like -- well, every single word of it. Every. Single. Word.

You know, I love this whole post-Chosen set up so much I may write a Slayer in every fandom I write, and many I'm writing just for that set up.

Whoa, that was so random! I was googling anne marie/eden and this is what came up. I love that like half your characters were Michelle characters. Rock on. I do like someone who appreciates her like I do. There needs to be more Eden/Rain/Ana/Diana/Letty fic (uh, okay - I didn't mean it how that came out - MINDFUCK!)
