I have this love of the show Roseanne. I grew up watching it, and still love it to this day, though there are some episodes which hit way too close to home. I have the same reaction when I think about Disney. We went before my Dad had some surgery, and we didn't know if he was going to make it - we saved and saved for the trip (we're poor, heh), so we'd have some happy memories just in case. It was the last great vacation we had. Luckily, Dad made it through OK, and we had him for a few more years. Thinking of Disney brings good memories, but makes me sad cause I miss him so much.

I want to get back someday, though. I loved it!

I think a crush on Darlene was a Gen X, early Gen Y, queer girl rite of passage. I was totally in love with her.

I always loved watching the Halloween episodes. They were always fun.

Yay Orlando! Of course I do live there, so I'm biased.

I liked Roseanne too, except that it got stupid after they won the lottery. I'm crazy into Scrubs right now, and I didn't even realize that the girl who plays Elliot (Sarah Chalke) was one of the Beckys on Roseanne. And then she was asked in an interview if she had any nicknames and she said "Chalkie and 2nd Beckie" and I was like "OH! Becky!"
