Full Moon

Jan 03, 2007 10:28

Some people say that we are influenced by the Moon and whether it's full or not.

Well, it's full now.

Does anyone feel affected?
Anything different today at all?

I can't really say because the moon wasn't feel here last night. Or tomorrow.

But, some people say how we're feeling is effected by the greyness of winter, and the lack of sunlight. Makes us feel slightly down, (or more down than usual). What's the weather like over there?

It's cloudy with some patches of blue sky in between, or the other way around, depending on the mood... In the winter, the sun is up just after I get to work and I'm done at work just in time for the end of the sunset.

There's no snow this year yet. Only rain. The weather is actually getting weirder and weirder every year. I don't think it's a coincidence - most likely an effect of the whole global warming thing...

According to some scientists the consequence will be that we get some time of mediterranean climate before the gulf stream turns and gives us another ice age. I'll stay for the warm years, and hopefully be able to buy a place in northern Africa or something by the time the cold ones come... :)

Last night it was slightly foggy, the moon had a large halo around it due to the mistiness, I found I was affected by the beauty of it rising with that ring around it.

If the moon can cause the tides, and we're 75% water, how can we not be affected... Some say that when the halo is red, it's a bad sign. I just think it's beautiful. :-)

I have found comfort and reasurance in the moon since I was a small child. I have a tatoo of it on my shoulder watching over my heart. Full or not it always makes me feel secure and calm.

Rain and wind here with some sun bursts thrown in to throw us all off a bit.

I always had Orion outside my window when I went to bed as a kid. That's probably one of the reasons why I feel more attatched to the stars than the moon. The moon is fascinating though, as all celestial objects. If I can, I'll go there some day. :)

I found you on a random search, and you seem like a really interesting person.

I particularly was impressed and in agreement with a post you made a few years back about the drunk man and the situation with his woman.
Handled that very well...

Hope you don't mind if I add you?
