Finished the crossword with only a few holdups this morning. I incorrectly assumed, based off the theme of the puzzle, that today is the anniversary of the release of Abbey Road - when in fact, that was back in September. Not sure why the theme went in such a Beatles direction, especially since Ringo was the theme answer to last Tuesday's puzzle.

The OED says that NOODGE is the English spelling of a Yiddish word, meaning a person who nags. Or, alternately, a Nagger.
