Finished the crossword with only a few holdups this morning. I incorrectly assumed, based off the theme of the puzzle, that today is the anniversary of the release of Abbey Road - when in fact, that was back in September. Not sure why the theme went in such a Beatles direction, especially since Ringo was the theme answer to last Tuesday's puzzle. ( Read more... )

The OED says that NOODGE is the English spelling of a Yiddish word, meaning a person who nags. Or, alternately, a Nagger.

That was probably the best part of my day, in fact.

Well, I guess I'm glad that it happened early on, so you could look back on it at smile if you needed a quick pick me up...
And Yiddish? Psht. That's a cop-out if I ever heard one.
