Nice. It's not hard to imagine Rafe reacting the way he does. It's a little hard to imagine that nobody clued him in sooner. But luckily, he finally catches the clue bus.

I kind of imagined that he kind of hid it fairly well - plus I'm guessing that they'd be careful not the 'sentinel' word too much.

I guess it's sort of my take on Rafe that he never seemed to quite jive with Blair the way the rest of the 'side' characters did, so it might have taken everybody a while to realize that he had a problem with Blair because of his 'fraud' status.

Of course, that's all in my little world, and god knows that is a scary place to be.

Interesting! I like this look at things through Rafe's eyes. I could easily imagine him feeling this way if Blair joined the force after TSbyBS. And I really liked how everyone was trying to clue him in gently. Fortunately he finally got it.

Wow, great spin on Rafe and so how it might have played out. They could have played this up easily for a few episodes if the show had continued. This was just great and I love the humble pie comment.

Thank you :) I always wondered if everybody at the police department really bought Blair's recanting or if they still believed the sentinel story.

This is an interesting sideline on Rafe, because I've always noted his attitude to Blair's press conference in TSbyBS and wondered how much he figured out. Joel, I'm sure, connected the dots in about three seconds flat. *g* Cool.

Rafe has always had a bit of a lukewarm reaction to Blair as far as I'm concerned(with the terse comment when Blair is looking for Gabe, and the ghost joke thing), so I figured that he'd be the likely candidate to believe the worst of our dear anthropologist.

And Joel absolutely had to have figured it out.
