Well, if that isn't a cliffhanger in the making, I don't know what is.

...whenever a solicit advertises the "shocking ending" of an issue, though, I tend to think "oh no, DC, what are you gonna do now?"

Shocking? Shocking is not a word I want out of DC. No, no. Shocking is a *bad* word.

Right. Well, to be fair, often "shocking" can mean:

"Oh my god! What are you doing here?" with friend / enemy / rival on the last page

or

"Oh my god! Is there no *end* to your evil? You corrupted ___!" (My dog, my teacher, my mentor, my Christmas tree).

Also, and this is always fun:
"Oh my god! Me (or someone I know) from an alternate reality/ The future?!?"

Or some other such thing. I'm hoping for that kind of shocking.
