John Rogers off BB for a while

According to John Rogers, Will Pfeifer will be writing BB for a while while he works on something secret.

Not awake enough to react coherently now. Mainly because short of Amazons Attack I have no idea what else Pfeifer's done. I'm more worried about how long "a while" is going to be.

Apparently Pheifer's Catwoman is really good, but I haven't read it.

I'm really worried but I really want to know what else Rogers is working on. I'll probably buy it regardless of what it is.

Pfeifer's the current writer on Catwoman. He wrote the 'Crisis Aftermath: The Spectre' mini, the short-lived 'H.E.R.O.' series, and the 'Captain Atom: Armageddon' mini for Wildstorm. He's done a few other fill-ins elsewhere, like Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Swamp Thing.

Rather liked his Spectre mini.

Interesting choice as fill-in. From the bit I've read of his work, he does John's thing of emphasising his characters' 'ordinary' lives, outside the mask, though he tends to write a bit darker. We'll see how he goes.
