On a whim I updated my iTunes because it had been awhile and this morning I plugged in Frances (my iPod) to charge it up. iTunes forced a sync which it has NEVER done before

I don't know if this will help you find any of them, but check out http://audiofic.jinjurly.com/. They have TONS of podfic there.

Also? Maybe get a cheap mp3 player to store your podfic on, instead. No firmware updates EVER (if you get the right kind) and your files are yours to do with what you will.

I found the little ticky box that you have to tick to make sure iTunes doesn't automatically sync. I find this incredibly upsetting and think that it should totally be the other way around. I hate this whole new idea of opt-out instead of opt-in. Just because you think it's a good idea, Apple/Windows, does not mean I DO. It turns out I've also lost quite a bit of music, too. I am so ready to start writing nasty letters. I have never been so disappointed in Apple before.

So far I've recovered 13 fics and that's just in SGA. It's gonna be a loonng downloading day ^_^

I've found a fair handful of the ones I'm missing but there are still some I haven't found yet. I'm going through the audiofic archive with my handy list so I can make sure that I get them all. I'm downloading like a FIEND. By the end of this I might end up with more audiobooks than I lost LOL. There are several I didn't know had been made into audiobooks so I'm taking them.
