In the midst of packing up my room (and my life) I came across my diary from age 10. Spelling errors have been kept intact to help preserve authenticity...
Isn't it so amusing to find old diary entries from childhood?? I had found mine from 5th grade and middle school when I was cleaning my room in San Jose -- the spelling and grammar errors plus the drama cracked me up.
And I know what you mean about feeling guilty for throwing away old things; I had to go through my stack of drawers that held all my old papers and projects from years past, and some things I just couldn't get rid of -- for the life of me, I cannot throw away my high school junior U.S. history binder with the contents because Mr. Zehner is/was my favorite teacher, and I feel like it would be insulting him and throwing away memories if I ever did. Some things you just have to hold onto.
I hope you're doing well, good luck with the sorting!!!
omg, i love that first diary post about the crush! so cute, haha. um, hope you're doing well. i'm trying to get my act together this week, and... yea... talk to u soon, hehe
I read this diary. I liked the repeated resolutions to be nicer to your brothers. I also like when you finally do get a girlfriend but 'something's wrong-- I don't know what.' Well *I* know what! You're GAY!
