I looked at my outlook calendar today. One week from today, Empire of Ivory drops. I'm so excited, ya'll! (Yes, I do have outlook reminders for my geekery. What what

Eeeee, I'm excited! I'm trying to decide if I should buy it right away, or if I should wait until just before I go to BC in October so I can read it on the plane. (A whole hour and a half of uninterrupted reading time!)
(Also I am kind of ashamed of myself...I am still not finished reading Red Seas Under Red Skies. Not because I don't like it, because I do, but I keep putting it down and then getting distracted by other stuff and not picking it back up.)
Oh no, I wouldn't wait. I'm reading it that day. And, if you don't read it right away there's a chance I'm going to whine and taunt you about it. Because that's how I roll!
RSURS is kind of a long book... I guess. It took me like three days to read and I read the first one in one so... well, you're still a slacker! SLACKER!
But then what do I read on the plane? :( Tho maybe it's better I don't have such a good book to read or I'll have to be all unsociable while I'm visiting the snister.
I am a terrible slacker. I keep forgetting I haven't finished and picking up other books. Maybe because it is too big? Too heavy? I dunno. It's not a bad book! I am just not as invested in the Dread Pirate Locke.
See! I was gonna preorder at Amazon but at my new building it's weird with deliveries. Some of them get dropped by my door. Some of them go to the local post office and I have to pick them up, but only after I get a notice which takes like three days. I cannot figure why some get the door and others the office. so I didn't want to preorder because I was afraid it would delay my reading enjoyment.
But now I'm thinking of preordering at B&N to be certain it's there when I go. I'm just not sure which one to order at. One by my work or one by my apartment? Gah. So many choices.
I know! It went by way more quickly than I thought it would! When I saw the outlook reminder I had to go to Amazon to make sure it was right because I was convinced it was in October or something and I still had weeks to wait... *is excited too!*
