We scanned the pictures from Wednesday's ultrasound. Little guy was moving a lot, so the pics are not the clearest ever. (Plus, the machine at the regular OB/GYN is not nearly as good as the one at the specialist's, so I think the 13 week pictures + video will remain the highlight.) Cute? He has cleared the lowest of bars: his Mamma likes him!
I learned today, on a People's Pharmacy program about the digestive system, that feti can taste (don't ask me how) what ccmes through the cord, and that a mother's eating a variety of foods while pregnant produces a child who will also eat a variety.
A similar concept is said to apply after birth: if a person repeatedly tries what at first doesn't taste good, it is common for it to gradually begin to taste good during, say, ten to twenty tries. In the for-what-it's-worth category...
