*begins to remove his clothing. As he removes his shirt Ludwig can now see the purple blooms on Gilbert's left shoulder and ribs, as well as a gash on that arm that has six stitches. There are other, smaller brown bruises on his arm. It's obvious that Gilbert's landing from his emergency cliff jump didn't go properly. However Gilbert smiles, happy at the prospect of finally bathing.*

It is lovely, but there are just some nice things about an old clawfoot bathtub. I happen to like my bathroom.
