OMG, a theory.

You know I've put on weight since I moved to the Farnham office. Not a huge amount but there's a definite tightness in my waistband when I sit down. Which is weird because I've got farther to walk to buy my lunch (an uphill walk at that) and lunch now involves a 'healthy' sandwich rather than the 'junk' food I was eating in Alton.

However, this is where my theory comes in. )

God no, don't worry about what your coworkers think! When I'm trying to eat well, I have to explain to everyone why I'm not joining in the 'food festivities' that seem to happen at least once a week at my office. As if it's their business! But I'm sure you'll have that too, and you can just easily deflect it by saying you're trying to eat healthier. No one should give you much guff over it.

Stick with it! High carb intake is the most common factor for weight gain, and for mood swings because of the sugar highs and lows.
