pointing things out to them is a result of the fiasco on gen-ooc. They don't want things pointed out to them, especially where they're wrong. They simply want everyone to shut up and accept what they say. It comes along with the whole sense of power that comes from being in appointed positions that cannot be removed by referenda by the nature of the MST office.

I've run out of words for how disgusted I am.

Well, I've started with an e-mail to the AMST in question. Figured since it's his words I have a porblem with, I should start there - first step of con-res and all.

If the response I get from Charlie isn't acceptable, *then* I'll consider dragging his boss into it.

The part that's missing though is why the AMST is so sensitive. Fact is, the MST and others *have* gotten serious threats of violence over the reset. I suspect people's nerves are a bit raw right now. It doesn't mean that the hypocracy within his statement shouldn't be pointed out to him - just means we probably shouldn't start jumping up and down shouting "see the violence inherent in the system!!"

This likely was not a power-trip, but a bit of an over-response due to the larger picture of things that have been happening.

Likely one of the situations which Charlie is talking about is the day I lost my temper with Mr. Bounds. Which made the comments about slapping the NST for charity stand out too me even more, considering they came from Mr. Bounds.
