I also liked Maedhros' ambivalence about getting more elves killed. Guilt? Nicely ironic, considering everything that happended afterwards.

I wonder if Fingolfin ever considered getting a round table?

Well, of course, this is pre-Suicide-Bomber-Maedhros. He just wanted to get the meeting over with so that he could go off and shag Fingon.

I'm absolutely furious at the moment. ffnet has now forbidden 'character-based' section breaks (such as hyphens) and disallowed centring except through their editor. Worse, they've swept these out of fics that have already been posted - in the past, their code restrictions have left old stories intact, but not this time.

Well, that's screwed up probably every story I have posted on ff.net. Not that I can be bothered to go back over there and fix them, though. I'm sick and tired of re-uploading stories to fix ff.net-induced formating screwups. (Perhaps having to do it three separate times to Chance's Strange Arithmetic soured me?). If my stores there now look like crap - well, that's what the site deserves.
