  • To our great disappointment, Hillary proved viable in our precinct and snagged one of our five delegates. With 20% reporting, Obama is winning in Colorado two to one. Only half of Denver has come in, and none of Boulder - I'm guessing Boulder will fall toward Obama, being a university town. I'm not sure about Denver - Obama hasn't done as well ( Read more... )

Looks like my state's caucus is gong to matter after all! This is going to be a closely-fought campaign (which may be all to the good, if it toughens the winner up enough to endure the upcoming Rethug swift-boating). I'm almost looking forward to Saturday, when I plan to go off and caucus for Obama.

Yes, very much so! I think every state is going to matter this year, at least for the Democrats. The media can't even agree on which candidate is leading, it's so close. And although the 'super-delegates' are in Hillary's court, they can switch allegiances - the final decision could very well be made here at the Democratic National Convention.
