The problem is that there's another OS out there that runs just fine on over 400 million computers around the world. That system is stable, secure, and gets the job done. So far, the response to Vista seems to be underwhelming. I haven't heard many people saying they like it, or who feel it's an improvement over Win XP. (Being one of those Mac addicts, I have no dog of my own in this particular fight.)

You don't like tabbed browsing? *faints in shock*

I don't think it brings much that is new to the table, partly because MS added some of the functions that were originally supposed to ship with Vista to XP. And it's frustrating when things aren't where you expect them to be.

You don't like tabbed browsing?

I just open a new window when I go to another site. With tabs, I tend to close the whole browser when I want to close the window. I also like to see all my windows at the bottom of the page, since I'm often working in Word and going back and forth between a couple of sites and my document.
