A proposition: no one actually falls in love with a serious narcissist; they fall in love with whatever lies the narcissist is telling about themselves to themselves at the time.
Ahh, that's one of those propositions that's difficult to refute.
I'd actually suggest that someone of sufficiently low self worth could, would and do easily fall in love with narcissists.
I think David Williamson even had a pithy line about it, "You fell in love with him because you thought he was brilliant. He fell in love with you because you thought he was brilliant".
