Aparently my religious knowledge puts me a few standard deviations from the norm - 15/15. Ah, well, I never made any claims to normal.

You and me both.

But -- knowing who Jonathan Edwards is? How obscure did they get?

Well, I only missed the one about the Supreme court's opinion on prayer in school, which I think is a US legal question not a religious one. 8->

You are, I presume, familiar with the sabbath elevator?

Wow, good writeup!

There's a running joke about Chabad. "Lubavitch is a lovely religion. Its' the next best thing to Judaism!" Chabadnicks don't appreciate Yeshivish humor sometimes. ;-)

Like the others, I took the quiz and got 14/15 because I have no idea what the First Great Awakening is. I'll have to look it up...

The quiz is pretty US and Christianity focused, which is fair enough I suppose, given that it was a US survey in the first place. That being said, the percentages responding correctly to each question are pretty pathetic. Christian country my arse!

"The First Great Awakening", isn't that when Cthulu and the Elder Gods start wreaking havoc across the universe?

Sounds like it should be, doesn't it?

Having looked up the great awakening, I now understand why I didn't know much about it, and why people from the US may. Fire and brimstone type stuff has never really done it for me.

Jonathon Edwards sounds like he'd appeal to my mother... :(
