The Nuart theater in Hollywood, California was my home base for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. But during the rest of the week, they would show a variety of independent films, the previews for which became integral parts of the Rocky Horror experience (i.e. we had lines for them too).

One of those films was called "The Living End". It was about two HIV positive gay men who were traveling together across the country. Ever see it? Not exactly a high budget film, but I enjoyed it.

No, have not seen it. (Gay films are often not very high budget.)

I do own The Trip though, which, from your description of The Living End has some similar elements.

On a different note, I am reviewing Ed Feser's The Last Superstition for an Oz magazine. It is helping my understanding and critique of natural law theory: the arguments for taking metaphysics seriously in the book are rather better.

And a certain Quadrant blogger saw out 2008 reviewing four philosophical books in a row.
