I got the horrors reading that. No matter how well intentioned, that's still a pretty horrific act.
Glad you have a lovely pig and a sheep (you still have the sheep?) in your life. I have a plush guinea pig name the Prime Minister, for whom we used to make up election ads during the 2004 campaign.
I had a panda, it was big and fluffy, traditional teddy bear star-shaped, but with panda markings. It was as big as me when I was three/four-ish, and I'd had it for as long as I could remember...
When I was six, we went to the country. Stayed with a friend of my mum's, and as I was out playing with the locals one day...well...Karin had alsatians...two of them...
Mum heard me go into immediate hysterics from half a paddock away.
I thought it was bad enough when I had to fight my mum as a teenager to keep my panda [the then brand new him is in my icon]. Fortunately, I still have his tattered self though there is a lot more difference between our heights now.
Argh! Yes I remember being hospitalised for allergy testing in eighties n I got upset at them cavity searching Scobby. Who I'd had since before I can recall.. New Skin *shudders*.
Sorry to hear that but new freinds are good. I got Canelle a year or so ago after ocasionally giving up on the soft-toy therapy.
