He's beautiful!

one day Mum replaced his skin

I got the horrors reading that. No matter how well intentioned, that's still a pretty horrific act.

Glad you have a lovely pig and a sheep (you still have the sheep?) in your life. I have a plush guinea pig name the Prime Minister, for whom we used to make up election ads during the 2004 campaign.

Hooray, pig!

I should take some photos of chicken. I'm sure we thanked you for chicken at the time, but he's a wonderful thing so I'll mention him again :)

Oh you poor thing!

I had a panda, it was big and fluffy, traditional teddy bear star-shaped, but with panda markings. It was as big as me when I was three/four-ish, and I'd had it for as long as I could remember...

When I was six, we went to the country. Stayed with a friend of my mum's, and as I was out playing with the locals one day...well...Karin had alsatians...two of them...

Mum heard me go into immediate hysterics from half a paddock away.

I thought it was bad enough when I had to fight my mum as a teenager to keep my panda [the then brand new him is in my icon]. Fortunately, I still have his tattered self though there is a lot more difference between our heights now.

You have sympathy hugs from both of us.
