On Monday, was at Terang Secondary College, a small (370 kids) public school in a Western District town past Colac, doing a combined session of Arms & Armour out under some trees and then two sessions of Heraldry. I meant to say that I'm glad you liked the Terang High visit. Terang is very close to my home town and I still think it's one of the most pretty country towns in Victoria.

I applaud you for bringing your skills to the students there. I didn't go to Terang High and thus can't claim to have gone to the same school as a Nobel Laureate, but country schools in my experience, struggled to get interesting guests and if your visit made one student passionate enough about history to want to pursue it as a career, you have done humanity a great service.

I usually enjoy my visits to country schools. As I say about my job, it's not a way to make a lot of money, but it is a way to have a lot of fun. And country schools are often much of the fun.
