A questionnaire regarding the Forest

Please note that the forest in question is the one at the South East portion of the island, sometimes referred to as the Forest of Mirrors.  It is not the 'normal' forest near the Second District.

1. Have you been in the Forest? If so how many times. If not has anyone you know been in the Forest?

Yes, once. Twice? I came out of the forest once when I came back here from home. Not sure if that counts.

2. Was it your choice to go into the Forest? If so why did you willingly go into there? If not where were you just prior to being in the forest?

Nope. I was walking to work and then -poof- trees.

3. How long were you on Atia before you found yourself in the Forest? (If going into the forest was your choice please skip this question.)

2 or 3 weeks, I think?

4. What emotions do you associate with being in the Forest?

Anger. Maybe regret.

5. How long did you feel like you were in the Forest? How long were you really in there?

I don't remember, I think it was only a couple of days. 4 or 5, maybe.

6. What did you see in the Forest?

People from home. People I never wanted to see again.

7. What did you hear in the Forest?

Said people, being jerks. Not that it wasn't in character for them

1. I have been in the forest twice, and probably about half of my friends have been there, too.

2. I didn't decide to go there, either time. I was on my way home from work once and the other time I thought I was in bed.

3. The first time was two months and the second time was six months after I got here.

4. I was very afraid.

5. It felt like forever, but neither time was more than a few days to a week.

6. I can't really remember. I saw a lot of trees and I thought I saw other people, but I couldn't tell.

7. It was mumbled, but half the time it sounded like screaming.

8. No, just a few scrapes and bruises and I had a cold one of the times.

9. I feel like that half the time on this island.

10. I would never suggest going into the forest by yourself or choosing to do it. It feels cold and empty and very scary.

I have, once.

No, it wasn't - I went to sleep one night in my bed and woke up the next morning in the forest.

I'd been here almost four months.

4. What emotions do you associate with being in the Forest?
Fear, distress, anger, and fatigue. Then again, those are all emotions I'd associate with being home, which is where I thought I was.

5. How long did you feel like you were in the Forest? How long were you really in there?
I was there for a little over a week and a half, but I'd honestly lost track of the days after a few. So it felt like anywhere from a week to a month, I was pretty disoriented by the time I came out.
