Of new beginnings, endorphins, and novels

I'm still in the job hunt--things fall through, new things open up, and so on. I am becoming better at keeping my emotions level and not letting myself get on the roller coaster of hope, dread, and disappointment. We'll see. At the moment I am totally exhausted from 24 hours in NYC (I got in at 10 last night) then up at 6 to drive to Chicago,
