Unrelated things

Over the last few weeks/months, I've seen more planets in detail than ever before. So a few years ago, Angie bought me a telescope for Christmas. I LOVED it, but wasn't very good at using it. One super easy, but surprisingly worthwhile object that I enjoyed viewing was the moon. It's amazing how clear it can be seen and pretty interesting to ( Read more... )

I was skimming an article earlier today that talked about how the Hubble telescope took a photo of Saturn at its brightest recently (I'm assuming around the time we saw it). Their photo was obviously much, much nicer than what we saw through the telescope. But it was still very nice to have seen it with our own eyes (-ish) through our wittle telescope.

The boss fat man did a lot of other martial arts things, mainly with Jackie Chan. I think he's actually also in Enter the Dragon where he fights Bruce Lee.

Such a car bro.

Maybe when we watch Enter the Dragon, it can check off a second Bruce Lee film and watching fat martial artists?

And thanks for the telescope, again!

The telescope sounds so fun!! Kinda amazing to think that you can just... buy a telescope and see all this stuff from your house. No Neowise though? Or too low from where you are?

We keep trying to see Neowise, but I don't know if it's the light pollution or high tree line, but we never have success with it.

Recently, rain and clouds, but we'll keep trying at least for a few more days/weeks.

I love seeing Jupiter and Saturn! It looks surreal through a telescope. Huge worlds out there we can see with our own eyes.

Yeah, it's just so amazing (hard to describe) to see such wondrous objects with your own eyes. And I read/heard that you're supposed to be able to see Jupiter's moons and Saturn's rings, but I wasn't ready for actually seeing them!

I'm not very eloquent, but I'm sure you understand =)

Totally agree with your COVID-19 thoughts and heck even if you're in pharmaceuticals, I find your thoughts credible lol. Personally, and as you can see, I am just trying to get on with my normal life as much as possible haha.

And damn I need to get on those martial arts films.

Thanks =P

The great thing of many martial arts films is that they're typically short. So when we're too tired or don't have the time for an MCU movie, we can watch a nice 90ish minute violent film =)
