That shrine is beautiful! Maybe it's a good thing the tourists haven't found it. Neat that you got to meet her family.

I think this shrine/temple was much more unassuming, probably because its more for locals.

My ice might have been mocha or some sort of coffee-like thing. It was okay. I definitely like the more traditional passion fruit or chocolate/pudding ones better.

In general, I have the feeling that the food in the underground portion of Shilin Nightmarket is newer and tries to be trendier and/or maybe just half-assed. Sausage in sausage is pretty popular, so maybe we just didn't find the right one.

And it sounds like I would like the Warriors if I can work up enthusiasm for modern-day NBA games. But they seem more about flopping around and traveling all over the world than actual playing.

I just don't think I was a fan of the outer sausage, but I do think the underground area isn't as good or fun as the streets.

Is your heart going to be torn apart by rooting for both the Warriors and your boy, Bron Bron?
