At the invitation of my good friend Brett, I decided to attend the TGRA Texas Tradition Rodeo this weekend. Brett was competing for the first time ever after just learning to ride a horse a couple of years ago and I thought it was important to be there to cheer him on. Thanks for sharing the day with us, Evan. My first partner was very active in IGRA when we were together in the early-mid 1990s (and when gay rodeo was more "faddish" than it is now); I have some fond memories of those times.

You got some really good pictures, Evan. I think I've told you that I grew up in a rodeo family. My dad and his brother were calf ropers. I rode before I walked.
